Excellent Restaurant

Beware of the 20% "service charge" on groups of 5 or more. Service was lacking food was good.

We sat outside. Ordered the Mac and blue cheese, beef empanadas, and fish tacos. Food and service were great. We'll definitely be back for more.

The best tapas place !! The food is delicious, the fish tacos, the empanadas, the white potatoes, the service is excellent And the chef is unique for his seasoning !!

Didn't actually get to eat here, the hostess was beyond rude.

My cousin and I went there January 13th and they were closed. It was a Friday and according to their website it's their busiest night of the week. Their hours were stated that they open at 5pm and we actually returned at 6pm to see if anything changed. What's up Macarena Tapas? Are you going out of business.

Good food. Expensive for quantity. Nice waiter however very slow service.

Food was great !! ASIDE from that the service we got from our waitress was Beyond rude !! From the minute we walked in she gave me and my dinning party attitude . We asked for something that was on menu just a month ago and her first response was this isn't a Mexican restaurant which was unnecessary! We are regulars at this place because we enjoy the food yet when you go and expect to have a good dinner we get this waitress who looks like she hates her job in the first place. I work in customer service and never have I ever spoken to a customer or treated a customer with such manner. We were nothing but polite and patient with her . I really hope this restaurant re considers some of the staff they have because it only makes your restaurant look bad . After going there for years i guarantee I will not going back there again !

This place is amazing. You have to try it. The garlic shrimp and smoked salmon were unbelievable. The staff was very friendly, ask them for suggestions. We used to love Fat Rosie's which was in this location before Macarena Tapas. We were sad to see that close but this place is better!! Wow. I loved it.

Tapas portions are big & can easily be shared with party of 4. Service was very quick. Must try inhouse red sangria, smoked salmon & ceviche. The walls are full of graffiti compliments. The decor is upbeat. Restaurants was a hot spot on Friday night. Its truly a St Charles Gem!

If I could put 0 stars I wouldthe server didn't know what the menu was when my cousin asked for the patella he ignored her and then he didn't know what it was. And then waited 45 minutes for box rice cheap shrimp , paid 90 for a paella and paella

Cannot recommend this place enough. They are back to focusing on the tapas, which is what brought us in and kept us coming back in the first place.Amazing staple items and frequent additions to the menu always keeps us happy and engaged. The staff is experimenting with expanding the sangria selection, so keep an eye on that list.$5 deals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will get us back more frequently than usual.
